Grow your own is taking hold in county Cavan with the Cavan Community Forum organising its third annual show. Yasmin Maassarani goes along to find out more…

Tullacmongan Resource Centre was the venue for the third annual countywide produce show. The idea for the show was originally devised by Cavan Community Forum’s Energy Team.

Kate Ennals, Cavan Community Forum Co-ordinator said, “The show encouarges people to grow their own, share experiences and come together.”

There were four main categories for the competition, these were: carrots, onions, potatoes, assortment and unusual.
